VocaPilot is an audio recording, audio editing, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech app. We respect your privacy and aim to minimize data collection.
Audio files: Audio files you record, import, edit, or export are stored locally on your device by default. We do not upload your recordings unless you choose to share or export them through system features.
Transcription text: Text generated from speech-to-text is stored locally on your device by default. We do not upload your transcription content.
Text-to-speech content: Text you enter and audio generated from that text are stored locally on your device by default. We do not upload this content.
Library information: The app may store audio titles, duration, folders, favorite status, creation time, and related metadata locally to manage your audio library.
Microphone: Used for audio recording.
Speech Recognition: Used for speech-to-text features. If the device or local model does not support the selected language, the feature may be unavailable.
File Access: Used for importing audio files, exporting audio files, and saving files through system sharing features.
Background Audio: Used to support recording while the app is in the background or the device is locked.
After you agree to this Privacy Policy, the app may initialize analytics SDKs to understand daily new users, retention, sessions, and basic feature usage, helping us improve the product.

Analytics SDKs are initialized only after you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you can still use the app, but non-essential analytics features will remain disabled.
We do not sell your personal information. Except for basic analytics services provided by the analytics SDKs, we do not actively share your recordings, transcription text, or text-to-speech content with third parties.
